Responsibilities:
• Performing network, application, system and workstation services, operate, and maintain network components in a complex multi-vendor environment
• Analyzing network problems, performing complex configuration changes on network devices and network applications
• Test and implement corrective actions (including emergency changes) to network faults
• Test and apply firmware/OS patches. Backout changes and participate in change reviews as needed
• Assess, evaluate and document bandwidth requirements, performance implications and risks.
• Design network analysis and reporting package.
• Execute performance analysis to gauge the health of the network and to identify appropriate actions
Technical requirements:
The following proficiencies are mandatory when considering candidates’ qualifications:
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS and Checkpoint FW-1 Network design
• Knowledge IP-services (DNS,DHCP)
• Knowledge of Switch and Router Configuration
• CCNA or CCNP Certification or equal knowledge level
• Fluent in English - written and verbal

Other requirements:
• Knowledge of Tivoli SW (Netview, TEC)
• Working experience in English-speaking country is a strong advantage
• Knowledge in Nortel and 3COM network devices and management tools
• Experience in systems and network monitoring
• Ability to work in 24/7 shift environment (including nights, weekends and holidays)
• Problem and change management tools usage
