Key Responsibilities:
? Wintel Systems Management in the Regional Data Centers:
? Administration variety of Wintel systems
? Platform infrastructure package/patch installation and validation
? Monitor system performance and capacity. Plan and implement system upgrades.
? Keep the environment compliant with corporate standards and policies (incl. systems security)
? Application Deployments (e.g. Post O/S builds, Middleware)
? Liaise with all areas of Technology Infrastructure, Application Development and Support
? Participation in new projects on Wintel platform
? Work within a shift schedule (including approx 1 in 4 weekends and overnight on call support)



Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Qualifications Required:
? Fluency in English (essential) both oral and written
? Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferably in technical area)
? Experience as Wintel System Administrator
? Deep knowledge of Microsoft systems
? Microsoft certification (MCP, MCSA or MCSE) optional
? Good knowledge of installation and configuration hardware components
? Good understanding of Networking concepts (Hubs, Switches, Routers, TCP/IP)
? Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
? Work well under pressure, ability to react to a dynamic environment
? Strong problem solving skills and analytical approach
? Ability to pick up new skills and knowledge quickly
? Experience of a financial services environment highly desirable
? Strong / Senior SA with relevant experience of supporting Windows servers in a DC environment, preferably for a financial institution.
