Our customer is an industry leader in digital security for Telecom and Finance sector, the world’s largest producer of smart cards, supplier of complex customer solutions and smart card services.

The team based in Prague (project managers / integrators / testers / developpers) is oriented mostly on telecommunication and serves a large range of Telecom operators in Europe but also not in CISMEA (Africa - middle east) Customers are also big group : Vodafone group, O2 group, Orange group etc.

Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates will possess the technical aptitude, service and customer oriented to deliver our Telecom solutions with a good quality and stability.

Main tasks:

- Validation of customized SW / connectors and global solutions linked to company’s Telco products,
- Responsible of validation of java softwares (Telecom solutions) installed in Linux-Unix/Oracle environment
- Reviewing or participation/definition of the test strategy (TPP),
- Designing test plans (VTP)/test cases based on functional requirements specifications (CRS) using quality center,
- Defining/performing manual and automated tests of the SW,
- Recording defects, verifying fixed defects,
- Consolidating, reporting and sharing tests results (VTR- Validation review) and writing test result reports using quality center graphs
- Working closely with developers and integrators to help to deliver solutions with high quality, and to fix issue or fine tune the test coverrage
- Respecting of internal process: reviews, quality, configuration management

Technical requirements:
- Very good culture / knowledge of validation methodology / progress : test strategy,
Functionnal tests, load tests, test coverrage ect.
- Unix Os (HP UX, Solaris, Linux) users/command line , knowledge of Oracle/SQL query (user)
- Good experience of bug tracking tools + quality center to store requirements and follow validation progress (graph)
- Standard web / soap load tests tools knowledge: soapui and/or jmeter or similar tools will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Telecom networks and security + handsets dev. (GSM/3G , secure SW/PKI, simcard, J2ME middlets) is also an advantage

Other requirements:
- Fluent English, it will be an international team and multicultural environment,
- University graduate with a technical degree,
- 3 - 6 years experience in similar role is required,
- Experience with project life cycle,
- Very good analytical mind, able and willing to learn
- Possibility to have short business travel (in Europe) for knowledge transfert or for project acceptance with our customers (a project manager will be with you on site)
- Customer and service orientation,
- Proactive and communicative people, open-minded, good team player
