As of 01.09.2010 we are looking for a e-Commerce Web Developer

Your Responsibilities will be:
- Ongoing development and improvement of hybris? Showcase
- Customization of the standard show case for particular needs
- Design and implement the business logic for the Showcase
- Provide e-Commerce knowledge for the design and development of the Showcase
- Discuss technical designs with internal and external consultants

What do we expect:
- Experience in Java/JEE in an environment using an Application Server/Servlet Container
- Experience in working with a JEE container environment, servlets, JSP's, JDBC, etc
- Working knowledge of SQL in general and database management systems in particular (Oracle, MySQL, MS-SQL) including familiarity with basic command line tools
- Familiarity of XML parsing, formatting, configuration, etc
- Solid understanding of Spring Framework and all IOC/AOP concepts
- Working knowledge of Spring MVC, JSP and JSTL
- Working knowledge of Object Relational Mapping (Hibernate, Toplink, or a proprietary equivalent)
- Well versed in working with Eclipse IDE, Ant or Maven and the SVN source control system.
- Experienced in asynchronous processing (JMS, MDB, Cron Jobs)
- Working knowledge of Web Services in general and RESTfull and/or SOAP in particular

Beneficial Qualifications:
- Experience integrating ERP systems, SAP etc
- Experience integrating Search And Navigation Engines (Endeca, Fredhopper even SOLR etc)
- Experience of working in an environment utilizing proprietary frameworks/tools
- Experience of working with PIM/MDM tools
- Experience of working with customer data
- Experience of working with Payment Service Providers/Fraud etc
- Experience of developing a contact centre application
- Experience working with Media Asset Management tools or developing bespoke solutions for media management/resizing etc
- Experience of working with CMS systems either commercial or proprietary/bespoke
- Unix/Linux exposure
- knowledge of web development in general and HTML, CSS, JavaScript in particular
- Experience of AJAX and familiarity with JQuery, Velocity Templates, JSON with REST
- Experience in working with other e-Commerce providers, e.g. ATG, Websphere Commerce, Infoshop, Demandware etc
- Experience working on a Retail website
- Exposure to ETL tools, Velocity and VMWare
- Experience working with Mobile e-commerce applications

Personal Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal English and local language skills
- Ideally additional language skills in another European language
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Result-oriented working style, based on the ability to learn quickly
- Strong organizational skills, structured thinking and user orientation
