Windows Systems Administrator
Requirements:
? Experience in Windows Systems Administration covering Windows 2000 2003 and 2008 Server versions.
? Understanding of Windows Registry
? Knowledge of HP and Dell server products and associated support tools.
? Experience to support SAN attached servers in an EMC storage environment.
? Experience to work with server support products like HP SIM, Legato Networker, Replistore, IBM Tivoli, Tectia SSH, Apani IPSec.
? Experience to provide the support to MS Cluster environment would be the advantage.
? Experience to work with middleware products such as Connect-Direct and Microsoft IIS would be the advantage
? TCP IP and networking experience
? Standard office automation products- Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
? Experience to provide the support in a time-critical 24 7 365 environment
? Demonstrable commercial experience of server support in a distributed environment, ideally some of which will have been in a Banking environment.
? Good organization and planning skills
? Be ready to use own initiative
? Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
? Strong customer and colleague communication skills, both written and verbal
? Fluent written and spoken English
? Skills to develop the solutions using scripting language e.g. VB Script
? Professionally certified in MS Windows 2000 2003 2008 Server Administration and ITIL is the advantage.

Most important responsibilities:
? Ensure that the systems which are under EMEA Wintel Corporate and Consumer - BAU Support Team administration are maintained in accordance with the support model implemented.
? Assistance to troubleshoot the issues appearing in the environment and to the requests coming from the application support teams.
? Direct liaison with business users and application development and support groups locally and regionally.
? Audit reporting. Providing technical expertise during audits.
? Performance monitoring and review, capacity planning, procedural checks.
? Business-driven application deployment.
? Tight control of the environment including conformance with standard controls checks and procedures in accordance with corporate standards.
? COB co-ordination, testing and documentation.
? Maintaining system documentation. Responsibility for technical and team process control documentation and periodical support for internal self-assessment processes.
? Assistance for SAN storage set-up and testing for SAN attached devices.
? Support for physical-to-virtual migrations to VMWare infrastructure as part of platfom virtualization initiative.
? Reduction of faults, efficient root cause analysis of the issues appearing in server environment.
? Involvement in the new systems setup and production handover for them.
? Adherence to all Citi Security roles and responsibilities which include:

o Protecting assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference
o Execution of particular security processes or activities
o Ensuring responsibility is assigned to the individual for actions taken
